Why I do this

For as long as I can remember, I've been looking for a business to start. Through 18 years in the Navy, deployments, duty stations, transitions. That itch never went away. I was always running numbers on something, always looking for the right opportunity.

Then one day it clicked: franchises. Proven systems. Established playbooks. Ongoing support. Everything the military had already trained me to operate within: structure, discipline, execution. I had the skillset. I had the determination. Franchises weren't a consolation prize. They were the right vehicle.

But when I started actually researching, I hit the same wall every veteran hits. The consultants weren't asking about my skills. They weren't showing me the real financials. They were pushing whatever paid the highest commission, not what actually fit my background. I watched capable people, leaders who'd managed complex operations, lose their savings on franchises that looked perfect in the pitch but fell apart after opening.

That's when it became obvious. I didn't just want to buy a franchise. I wanted to help people with that same drive avoid the same traps.
